I knew nothing about manual program before I take photography course (lol used auto all the time, auto is s*cks btw). This is a photo I took after the very first day of my course. I still lack a lot compared to pros doing photography for years or decades but I really want to post this photo since I like this moment I captured. This old woman kinda inspired me to work hard more, enjoy what I do and always be grateful for what I can do and I have until this moment. She is extremely old but still doing her job as s farmer because she enjoys it. I took this p

This transportation is somehow able to decrease the local character which gradually degraded by unwise industrialization. For only 10 years Jogja is already filled up rapidly with about 95% motorcycles and cars, no place for bicycle and other traditional transportation. Even when The Government create a special tiny spaces for bicycle at front street on traffic light junction, those who are going by motorcycles and cars always take over that space. They al

Where to Urban-Sketching in Japan

November, 10th 2018 Illustration title : Kendou Illustrator : Destiana (me) Drawing media : Wacom on Photoshop Drawing date : 26th August 2018 If we talk about Japan, we can't separate it from culture and neighborhood's warmth. I really amused by places where local value showed in building & urban design and neighborhood social interaction. They didn’t built their houses by purpose to attract tourists I guess, they just make their own houses with what they believe is good in many aspects, including culture. I can feel the warmth of the houses or buildings as if I can feel the warmth of the people just by looking at them.  If I have a chance to spend 14 days in Japan, I will go to lot of enchanting urban spots to draw all of them since I love to draw especially nature, urban and architectural objects. Here's the list of places that I want to draw in Japan since all of them have unique urban-sketching materials in my opinion : 1.      Shirakawa-go, Gifu

November, 10th 20 Illustration title : Nyantoka Nyaru Illustrator : Destiana (me) Media : Wacom on Photoshop Drawing date : 27th August 2018 I used to be afraid of cats back then. But now I gradually becomes a cat friendly person as I learn how to appreciate every single living thing that exist in this entire universe. I believe God creates living things by lots of complex reason behind it that makes this universe life circle works as He planned. I should be grateful of that, because I’m nothing without other living creatures. When I tried to overcome my fear of cats, I finally understood how human and animal or other living things actually related and need each other. Basically, strong bond between human and other living things created naturally when they approach each other and then care for each other. It’s kind of mutual relationship which naturally made without specified type of language intertwined or we usually named it verbal communication. I currently taking

It’s Namiya Zakkaten no Kiseki or Miracles of Namiya General Store in English. I didn’t have much expectation at first when I looked at the movie poster but well basically the poster kinda have fantasy feeling on it which makes me little bit curious about its visual effects.
